We believe in passing these benefits along to our clients. Please review the company pricing structure, and let us know if you have any questions.

Up-Front Design Fees: When hired to implement a project, estimate fees for design time necessary to oversee the project will be added to the cost of materials and labor. While we are happy to estimate projected hours, determining an exact amount of time for any project is not always possible. We make every effort possible to keep hours billed for time to a minimum. Please contact us for current hourly Design rates. This rate applies to the following:

  • Paint consultations
  • CAD drawings
  • Furniture layouts – planning in office and on-site
  • Planning meetings with contractors and subcontractors
  • Installation of items in home

Merchandise Fees: Depending upon the vendor, Canon and Dean is able to purchase goods at a discount. This fee is embedded in the discount offered to the client. Our goal is to save our clients money.

Service Fees: In addition to providing design, our office also provides the expert labor services (subcontractors) needed to complete the job. This fee is applied as a percentage of cost in the case of services such as painting, drapery and seamstress services, installation, upholstery, faux painting, glazing, carpentry and wallpapering services.

Standard Service Fee: Cost plus 20%, or less depending upon the bid from the subcontractor.

Payment Guidelines: If you are paying for either merchandise or services, you will give advance approval by signing written authorizations. Custom orders are not returnable. Depending on the good or service, we require between 50% and full value in advance payment in order to proceed. Please note, charges for sales tax, insurance, storage, shipping and handling must be included and are additional to the price of each purchase. In our industry, all items ordered through wholesale firms are sent through receivers (inspected upon arrival, and sent back at the manufacturer’s cost for any imperfection), thus receiving, uncrating, any assembly and delivery costs will be added upon placement of your item. These fees are generally not consequential.
